Matchmaking: industry meets industry!

20 November, the day before NEDS is all about international cooperation. During this matchmaking day we offer the defence and security industry the opportunity to meet and discuss opportunities.

The event, organised in cooperation with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), takes place at Ahoy Rotterdam. Participation to is free of charge.

The programme consist of two different types of matchmaking:

EDF matchmaking: focussing on the European Defence Fund programme, is open for companies who are eligible to participate in the EDF.
Global matchmaking: open to all participants interested in defence related international cooperation, in the context of industrial participation commitments in the Netherlands.

European Defence Fund matchmaking

The EDF-matchmaking takes place in the morning from 9.00-13.30 and gives you the opportunity to connect with strategic partners for this European industrial development program. The call for proposals for the 2024 EDF are open and preparations including the building of consortia is currently in full force. If you are interested in participating in the 2024 programme or if your company is looking to collaborate at a European level in the future, this event is an excellent opportunity for you.

Global opportunities

The global matchmaking event takes place in the afternoon from 13.30 – 16.00 and will connect global partners including to discuss opportunities in the context of industrial participation commitments. Global matchmaking is highly valued in defence and security activities and these meetings could be a great first step or a good way to follow up.

Participation and registration

To participate in this event, registration via the B2Match platform is required. You can register for EDF or global matching, or for both. You can select your matchmaking during registration.

Via the platform, you can provide us with your company description, defence themes of interest, eligibility to the EDF and previous experience. For information about the EDF and to see if you are eligible, please visit the website of the EDF.

The B2M platform provides all the attendees insight in the other participants to ensure relevant matchmaking.

Please note: participation in this event does not give you access to the exhibition on 21 November. The NEDS requires a separate registration.
